Hachinohe Shuzo launched a new line of distilled liquor with a new brand Minato Distillery. The goal was to create labels for these new products which were created from sansho (Japanese pepper), hop and apple. Inspired by the word "spirits," each bottle comes with illustrations of the plant/ fruit spirits. These three bottles were sold at a pop up store that promotes items from Aomori which is where Hachinohe Shuzo is located. Sansho spirits won the Prestige Koji Shochu/ Awamori Spirits at Kura Master in France.
